Ubar of Thieves: Oversees the Caste, and makes all final decisions. His word is law and there is only one Ubar.

Pre-requisite: Acquires the Rank of Master or Higher.

Inner Council:   The Inner Council are appointed by the ubar, there is no election, no way to get into the council without the Ubar's personal selection. They have done their time and done their crimes. Thieves in the Council have proven their ability as a leader and representative of the Caste.

**NOTE**: When the Ubar is unavailable, they are granted permission to handle certain matters responsibly and using their own sound judgement. Remember, when passing judgements without the Ubar present, choices and decisions should be made wisely. If it is not something the Ubar would approve of, then it is not the correct judgment. If you ever question yourself on a decision, then the matter should be brought to the Ubar for review.

Master: Oversees the lower ranking Thieves in the Caste and training.

Master thieves have been in the caste for a while and have created quite the name for themselves within the Caste. The Masters of the caste consider themselves to be the best of the best, and while there is often rivalries between Masters there is also a large amount of respect passed between each master for their accomplishments.

At this rank one may request to be a regent over a specific area in the city, having domain over that particular area. One must first ask the Ubar for permission to claim their desired area. Regents are responsible for their domain, any other thieves in a specific Masters domain must respect it.

**NOTE**: If in the circumstance a problem arises, that the Ubar is not available and there are no members of the Council available, Masters will only then be granted permission to pass a decision or judgement. Unlike Council Members and the power granted to them by the Ubar, Masters will be held more accountable for their decisions or judgments on matters. Remember, when making decisions or judgements without the Ubar or a Council Member present, use your decisions wisely. If it is not something the Ubar or a Council Member would approve of, then it is not the correct judgment. If you ever question yourself on a decision, then the matter should be brought to the Ubar for review. There is a chain of command and the Ubar expects it to be respected and followed.

Pre-requisite: To become a Master Thief is ONLY at the discretion of the Ubar, and Master Thieves MUST have been an active Thief for 2 years (6 real months).

The Enforcer also brings to justice Thieves and Business' lacking in their dues to the Caste. He does the dirty work of The Ubar. Most Thieves do not look forward to seeing him.

Thieves: Standard Caste rank.

Once an applicant has successfully completed training and is judged worthy by the Ubar of Thieves, he or she will be branded into the Caste.  At this point the thief will be able to move into one of the houses that is run by another thief.  Also at this rank only 25% of all loot gained goes to the caste. The rest is profit of the thief.

Apprentices: Apprentices are not yet officially in the Caste, but are in training under a mentor thief in the Caste.  An Apprentice is more involved in day to day works of the Thieves Den, Apprentices will mingle with thieves and be privy to more involved information.  Apprentices will be trained by various members of the Ubar's Inner Council as well as their primary mentor.  At this stage, if an Apprentice is found lacking, the only out is death.

All apprentices will be assigned a room inside of the Vault. This will be their home until their training is complete and they receive their brand or killed. It is expected that all apprentice thieves be relatively active. Extended periods of inactivity will result in removal from the roster and confiscation of their belongings and eviction from their room.  No Apprentices are allowed to steal publicly without a mentor present

All loot gained in this rank is to be turned over to the caste.

Applicant: All applicants are expected to remain living in the Vault Dormitory, until the decision has been made on whether or not they are to begin training or not.  The applicant stage is for learning practical skills, learning thief mentality and practices with a primary thief mentor.  At this stage an Applicant's interaction within the den is limited, and said Applicant can be cut from the caste without any repercussions.  No applicant is allowed to steal anything publicly.
